SELVE offers a comprehensive range of shaft pins (shaft inserts) for the reliable support of roller shutter shafts (octagonal shafts) in large, heavy roller shutter curtains – where conventional end caps reach their limits. In addition, double shaft pins and matching double brackets are available, which connect two adjacent roller shutter shafts and support them in a space-saving way – for example, in coupled roller shutter systems with a single central drive.

All shaft pins and double brackets are manufactured in Germany and are characterised by high quality and lasting corrosion protection – for low-maintenance, long-lasting installation in new builds as well as in the refurbishment of existing roller shutter systems.

Shaft pins are used wherever heavy roller shutter curtains must be supported securely and the load exceeds the load-bearing capacity of conventional end caps. For single-section systems with one curtain, adjustable shaft pins of the appropriate size are sufficient.

Where two adjacent roller shutter curtains are operated by just one drive, double shaft pins connect the two roller shutter shafts and allow space-saving support between the curtains. This makes it possible to build wide, coupled roller shutter systems efficiently.

For special installation situations – for example, in bay windows, where the roller shutter shafts are not in line – SELVE's articulated double shaft pins offer an elegant solution: with two universal joints, the torque can be transmitted at an angle of up to 90°.
