SELVE offers a comprehensive range of strap pulleys for reliably winding the roller shutter strap onto the roller shutter shaft (octagonal shaft). The strap pulley is slid onto the side of the shaft and transmits the pulling force from the strap of the strap coiler to the shutter curtain. Counter plates are also available: fitted on the opposite side, they prevent the slats from shifting sideways – at the point where the curtain runs into the entry funnel.

All strap pulleys and counter plates are made in Germany and feature a robust, durable plastic design – for maintenance-free use in new builds as well as in the refurbishment of existing roller shutter systems.

Strap pulleys are used wherever a roller shutter is operated by strap. The right size depends on the height of the roller shutter and the winding space available: on a tall roller shutter, a large strap pulley ensures that the full strap length required is safely taken up when the roller shutter is fully lowered. Smaller diameters are used for low roller shutters in small boxes.
