For smooth-running, energy-saving belt guidance

Every time a roller shutter is operated, the belt runs through the belt guide – over its lifetime, many thousands of times. That leaves its mark: abrasion, jamming and increased effort. SELVE belt guides and guide rollers prevent exactly these problems. They guide the roller shutter belt with low friction, and therefore quietly, through masonry, window frames or the roller shutter box, extending the service life of the entire system.

The roller shutter box is one of the biggest thermal bridges in a home, and the belt outlet is often its weakest point. Without proper sealing here, warm air from the heating escapes outside through the roller shutter box, and the insulation value of the entire roller shutter box drops. The result: heating energy consumption rises measurably. The SELVE energy-saving belt guide tackles this problem on two levels:

Prevent air exchange – a brush insert or insulating element reliably seals the belt passage
Maintain insulation value – the original thermal transmittance coefficient (U-value) of the roller shutter box is preserved

Result: noticeably fewer draughts in winter and a cooler indoor climate in summer. Versions are available for new builds (plaster-in belt guide) as well as for retrofitting existing installations, and in some cases can be fitted without removing the existing belt.
