Enhanced mechanical burglary protection for roller shutters
The SecuBlock anti-lift device is a well-proven solution that firmly connects the roller shutter curtain to the roller shutter shaft (octagonal shaft). When combined with a SELVE roller shutter drive, SecuBlock prevents the roller shutter from being lifted from the outside and therefore locks it in the lower end position. It works purely mechanically: no power, sensors or additional controls are needed. This makes the SecuBlock anti-lift device a key component of burglary protection, particularly for ground-floor windows and patio doors.
SecuBlock is quick and easy to install: the “rapid” twist lock is hooked into the rectangular cutouts in the shaft without screws and locked firmly in place with a 30° turn (e.g. using a coin). To suit different roller shutter box sizes, SecuBlock is available in five lengths (from no intermediate link up to four links). A screw-on version for fixing to the shaft is also available.
The following applies to both versions:
- For octagonal shafts SW 40, SW 50 and SW 60
- Can only be used with roller shutter drives or crank gears
- Rectangular cutouts of 5.5 × 8 mm required, hole spacing 60 mm
- At least two anti-lift devices are required per roller shutter system
For larger roller shutter shafts from SW 60 mm to SW 70, especially for roller doors, the even more robust SecuBlock XL has been developed. It is available with one to three links and can carry greater torque and weight. Slide-in profiles are required for use with maxi/new-build roller shutters.
