The one-way clutch for NHK drives from SELVE protects roller shutters and zip screens in the secondary escape and emergency route, and makes sure they operate reliably. This tiny component ensures that the system can only be cranked in the correct direction and does not transmit the force from incorrect cranking. In doing so, it reliably protects the system against damage.
The clutch is simply fitted between the connecting rod and the joint bearing. It can also be retrofitted in existing systems. In public buildings in particular, the clutch reduces the need for repairs to systems with emergency drives and keeps them functioning correctly at all times. This is particularly important for the secondary escape and emergency route.
The clutch ensures the reliability of the NHK drive at all times and prevents incorrect cranking. Installing it is easy and does not require the roller shutter box to be opened. As the system is completely mechanical, it requires no maintenance, therefore further increasing its reliability. After cranking the shutter or zip screen, SEE-NHK and SEZ-NHK retain or automatically reprogram the end positions.
