The SEZ-NHK is the world’s first solution for emergency opening of motorized zip screens. Wind gust detection, various well-designed features for fabric protection, and the automatic setting mode are identical to the SEZ drive. In addition, the SEZ-NHK is characterized by its intuitive emergency operation. After manually cranking the zip screen, the end positions remain unchanged.
To ensure the correct rotation direction when cranking, SEZ-NHK drives must be installed with a freewheel between the articulated bearing and the crank handle, and require a fixed upper stop.
Parallel operation of multiple SEZ-NHK drives is possible.
Available in BR 2 (from shaft Ø 50 mm). Adapters must be ordered separately. Articulated bearing mount: 7 mm hexagon or 6 mm square.

The problem with zip screen systems is that they can be extended beyond the lower stopping limit when they are being rolled down. This means that when using an emergency hand crank without a one-way clutch, the screen can be wound the wrong way causing the fabric to wind round the shaft in the wrong direction. This can cause significant damage to the system.
The SEZ-NHK with a one-way clutch effectively prevents incorrect operation by only allowing the zip screens to be opened in the correct UP direction and is therefore ideal for safe use in critical areas. The drive features all the functions of the familiar SEZ drive, specially adapted for zip screens, such as automatic end position adjustment, sensitive obstacle detection and wind gust detection, which ensures reliable retraction in the event of a wind alarm.
The emergency operation with the hand crank allows the electric drive to be installed in secondary escape and emergency routes.
